GraduateOn is a new initiative addressing the need to support businesses in the economic downturn and to promote and support the retention of graduates in the region.

The offer to businesses:
- Hosting graduates on 3 to 6 month placements to work in their business/organisation. There are a limited number of £750 subsidies to West Sussex companies if you can pay at least minimum wage for 12 weeks or more to a graduate, employed in a new full-time post.
- Become a partner in a Knowledge Transfer Programme with the University of Chichester. There are a limited number of subsidies (up to 1/3rd of the costs of the programme) available to support KTPs and reduce the cost to businesses.
The offer to Graduates:
- Benefit from a free, intensive training course that will help you understand and promote yourself in a competitive professional marketplace [PLACES AVAILABLE IN SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER and DECEMBER 2010 - CLICK ON 'TRAINING SESSIONS']
- Receive advice, when you need it, from an experience professional business coach
- Have the opportunity to take up placements with West Sussex businesses and public sector organisations
